Long-haul and regional C+E drivers are the roles ManBe has placed most: over 5,000 drivers have gone to work in Lithuania through our network. We recruit drivers who already hold a heavy-vehicle licence in their home country, run them through a practical driving assessment, and handle the licence exchange, Code 95 (CPC) training and tachograph card so they arrive road-legal.

Permit route and lead time differ by country.

Lithuania

Temporary residence permit for work, issued by the Migration Department. Lead time 8–14 weeks.

🇱🇻

Latvia

Residence permit with the right to employment, issued by OCMA (PMLP) after a 10-working-day vacancy registration with the State Employment Agency. Lead time 8–12 weeks.

🇵🇱

Poland

Work permit (type A) issued by the voivode, applied for electronically. Lead time 10–16 weeks.

🇩🇪

Germany

Residence permit for employment under the Skilled Immigration Act. Lead time 12–20 weeks.

🇳🇱

Netherlands

Combined residence and work permit (GVVA) with a strict UWV labour-market test — rarely granted for blue-collar roles. Lead time 6–10 (posting) / 16+ (GVVA) weeks.

Truck & Trailer Drivers — FAQ

Not for professional work. The licence must be exchanged for an EU licence (or a new one obtained) and the driver needs a Driver CPC / Code 95 qualification. Lithuania and Poland run established exchange routes for licences from several Asian countries; Germany requires a German licence and CPC within a fixed qualification window. We plan this before the candidate travels.
